When Allie Regan gets dropped into another dimension to break the curse on a strange kingdom, she thinks she’s there for a short visit. But when the extent of the curse is revealed - that an entire people have lost the ability to feel love or passion,Allie realizes that, for more than one reason, she can’t just leave.

  Burying her own pain and trauma, she sets out to teach the people of Avincourt what she remembers of passion and love. But some hurts run too deep to bury, and Allie realizes she, too, must find a way to heal and to love.
